Mr Tangata (Fletcher) Melvin has been a director of Cook Islands Investment Corporation since 2021. Mr Fletcher Melvin has extensive experience across a number of Boards, across both the public and private sector. Mr Melvin is the proprietor and Managing Director of Island Craft, a leader in: Authentic Pacific-Cook Islands ‘Arts & Craft’ and one of the nation’s oldest and thriving business enterprises and the owner of the Perfumes of Rarotonga the largest manufacturer of Cook Islands Body Care products. Mr Melvin is the Chairperson of Vodafone Cook Islands and has held governance roles at the Cook Islands Chamber of Commerce (Chairperson), the FSC, Cook Islands National Sustainability Development Agenda Committee, Cook Islands National Labour Advisory Board, the Pricing Tribunal, to name a few.
